Carers Week is an annual awareness campaign to celebrate and recognise the vital contribution made by the UK’s 6.5 million carers
Carers week is 11th - 17th June 2018
This Carers Week we are looking at all the ways we can support carers to stay Healthy and Connected. Building communities which support carers to look after their loved ones well, while recognising that they are individuals with health and wellbeing needs of their own.
The Northwest Children's Palliative Care Network is working with Parent Voices Count to raise awareness of parents and other carers of children with life threatening and life limiting conditions across the Northwest. We will be looking particularly at the vital role carers play in ensuring children with long term conditions can participate in full and active lives. And the importance of ensuring that carers are supported so that they can look after their own needs.
