Difficult Conversations is a parent devised workshop, aimed at supporting professionals communicate and collaborate with parents / carers of children and young people on the palliative pathway.
The two hour workshop has three broad aims:
To provide a safe space for professionals to explore communication with parents and reflect on the nature of ‘difficult conversations’
To bring into the awareness of professionals – using real stories and experiences – parental perspectives, values and reflections
To workshop and reflect on professional practice and devise learning points / actions that can enable ‘difficult conversations’ to be better supported
